About
I am Sanjana and I like explosions in space. Many of the elements that make up our bodies and our world were created in these explosions, and my research seeks to discover their astrophysical origin stories. I love sharing these stories with anyone who will listen!
I am currently a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Chicago. I have previously lived and worked in India, North Carolina, New Mexico, the Netherlands, and California. In the Fall of 2023, I will join UC Berkeley as an NSF Astronomy and Astrophysics postdoctoral fellow.
