Ken joined the Berkeley Physics Department after a career in writing chip design software in Silicon Valley. He is the lead mentor for the N3AS undergraduate research program. Ken's research is in nuclear effective theory, especially HOBET (Harmonic-Oscillator-Based Effective Theory) and quantum computing.
