N3AS Member George Fuller Elected to National Academy of Sciences
It was recently announced that George Fuller has been elected to membership in the National Academy of Sciences, as a part of the class of 2026. Election, which recognizes distinguished and continuing achievement in original research, is one of the highest honors a scientist can receive. George was recognized for a lifetime of achievements that range from the weak interaction physics of stellar evolution to the properties of neutrinos trapped in the cores of supernovae and neutron star mergers.
