About

Dake is completing his PhD in physics at the University of Washington, where he works with Sanjay Reddy on theoretical particle and nuclear astrophysics. Dake joined the N3AS network in the fall of 2021, spending the first two years at the University of Washington, before heading to his present site at Northwestern University.

Dake’s current research focuses on dark sector physics and dense QCD matter. He is interested in potential dark matter effects and observables in astrophysical and cosmological environments. Deciphering the QCD phase diagram with the help of observations of compact objects and terrestrial experiments is another avenue he actively pursues. Dake looks forward to unleashing the potential of multimessenger observations in collaboration with colleagues working on astro simulations and data analysis.
